How many days a week should my child attend?
Most Junior dancers start with 1–2 classes per week. We make it easy to build a flexible schedule that fits around school and family life.
Are there performance opportunities for Juniors?
Yes! Dancers have two wonderful opportunities to perform on stage each year. We hold a mid-year showcase where students get a fun, friendly preview of performing, as well as our magical end-of-year concert. Both are low-stress, supportive events designed to celebrate their hard work and let them shine alongside their friends!
What if my child has never done dance before?
No problem at all! Our Junior classes are welcoming to total beginners as well as dancers moving up from younger groups.
The owners of KICO Dance Studios have created a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for all of their students. Over the past 2 years I have seen a massive improvement in my confidence as a person as well as a dancer. They have helped me grow into the dancer I am today and provide opportunities for myself and all students at KICO to expand their abilities whilst stepping outside of their comfort zones. My daughter has absolutely thrived at KICO, her teachers are nothing short of amazing, supportive and nurture each student in the class. No matter how many times our little ones cried or turned away in the beginning the Amelia and jasmine persisted and now we have a great group of little dancers who look forward to dancing and seeing their friends each week. Props to Kirralee and Chloe for building such a great community at the bloc. Would definitely recommend and absolutely love the bloc community.
